The Fusengbuwa Ruling House, Ile-Nla Compound, on Sunday hosted a family meeting to welcome new members into the forum and strengthen bonds among descendants.
Receiving the new members, Prince Adedokun Ajidagba, the Olori-Ebi (head of the family), urged everyone to remain united, focused, and determined in their collective pursuit. He emphasized that the family’s success depends on shared commitment, prayers, and togetherness.
Prince Ajidagba reassured members that the family stands on solid ground, expressing confidence in eventual victory.
“I want to assure our members to remain calm. Our family is united, and no one should pay attention to distractions. We are winning this together,” he declared.
“We have reminded them of their history and shown them where they belong. Fusengbuwa is a large royal house, but we at Ile-Nla Compound know ourselves.”
Prince Olaseni Ottun, in his reactions to journalists, praised Prince Ajidagba’s leadership, describing it as exemplary.
“Since I have known our Baba, the Olori-Ebi, he has consistently demonstrated an unquantifiable style of leadership at all levels,” Ottun said.
Also speaking at the event, Prince (Engr.) Okeowo Olusoga, a descendant of Jadiara of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, urged members to remain steadfast under Prince Ajidagba’s administration.
“Our team shall bring peace to Ijebuland. We are not here to play, we know our origin, and we have capable hands to represent us. I appeal to all our qualified family members to stand firm with this team under the leadership of Prince Ajidagba. Together, we shall reach the promised land,” he affirmed.
The gathering ended on a note of solidarity, with members pledging their continued support for the Olori-Ebi and the unity of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House.
