
…as Oba Tejuosho throws weight behind YAYI’s group, Caucus 7202
Ahead of the 2027 governorship race, a prominent traditional ruler in Ogun State, Kabiyesi Oba (Dr.) Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, Karunwi III, Oranmiyan, the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba, has thrown support behind the independent campaign group of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI).
The monarch spoke while recieving a delegation from the Iyalolomo Foundation led by the Convener, Professor Yemi Oke and the Director General of Caucus 7202, Hon. Olaseni Koiki.
Professor Oke presented Oba Tejuosho the award of “Most Iconic Business Woman of the 20th Century Nigeria” bestowed upon late Iyalode Bisoye Tejuosho, in recognition of her immense contributions to Nigerian commerce, industry, and women’s economic empowerment.
According to the Professor, the award serves as a tribute to late Iyalode Bisoye Tejuosho’s enduring impact on Nigeria’s private sector and her unwavering commitment to enterprise, innovation, and national development. He noted that her achievements continue to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs and reinforce the importance of women’s leadership in business.

“Although she passed away in 1996, Chief Bisoye Tejuosho’s name remains synonymous with resilience, vision, and excellence. This latest honour further cements her place among the most influential business icons in Nigeria’s history.” Prof. Oke stated.
Oba Tejuosho thanked the foundation for the great honour and pledged his unwavering support towards its programs and activities under the Caucus 7202.
Iyalolomo Foundation is an off-shoot of Caucus 7202, an independent campaign group of Senator Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI).
