The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council has commended the elevation of Dr. Toyin Taiwo by Governor Dapo Abiodun from the Deputy Chief of Staff to the substantive Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ogun State, emphasizing that the appointment reflects his dedication and commitment to public service, and also underscores the trust placed in him by the Governor and the people of Ogun State.

“Dr. Taiwo’s appointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities, administrative expertise, and a stalwart commitment to the welfare of our citizens during his tenure as Deputy Chief of Staff. “We have, no doubt, witnessed his unwavering loyalty and strategic support to the Governor in implementing government’s policies that directly benefit the people and also conscientiously overseeing the implementation of key projects and initiatives that enhance the development of our dear State.”
The NUJ leadership encourage Dr. Taiwo to continue harnessing his skills and passion for service, noting that the people of the State have placed their hopes in his leadership to drive initiatives that promote good governance, transparency, and accountability. The Union urge him to leverage his extensive experience, unparalleled humility and clear vision to foster inclusive development and to address the pressing needs of our populace using his closed working relationship with the State Governor.
He will continue to guide the Governor’s office with competence, serve as a bridge between the government and the citizens, and as well work tirelessly to maintain and build upon the achievements of his predecessors, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns addressed.
