Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, (APC, Ogun West), the chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations has felicitated the First Lady of Nigeria and wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 64th Birthday.
In a statement released on Saturday by the Media Adviser to Senator Adeola, Chief Kayode Odunaro, the Distinguished Senator described the First Lady as the “Mother of the Nation” who has contributed greatly to the development of Nigeria before her present role as First Lady of Nigeria.
“Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu is a role model par excellence as a wife, mother, teacher, philanthropist, politician, Distinguished Senator and First Lady. She has contributed immensely to the development Nigeria in diverse ways as First Lady of Lagos State for 8 years, as a ranking Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and now as First Lady of Nigeria.” Senator Adeola stated.
Senator Adeola stated that the nation is blessed to have a First Lady that is versed in democratic practices and good governance based on years of experience at the highest levels stressing that it is no wonder that she is pursuing complementary sustainable projects to the Presidents’ in the areas of education, agriculture, creative industry and humanitarian issues.
The senator prays for many more years of good health for the great Amazon and Mother of Nation to continue to render selfless and patriotic services to the nation.
