The House of Representative-elect, Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, Rt-Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade Abiodun Isiaq has charged Muslim brothers and sisters across the world to cultivate the values of Ramadan and continue to love one another in peaceful co-existence.
Hon. Akinlade, who is the Baba Adinni of Yewaland, in a statement issued in Owode-Yewa, stated that, ‘Islam denotes peace and love’ encouraging all to live a positive life, adding that Ramadan, which was a time of fasting and charity, also demanded righteousness in all daily routines.
“Ramadan is one of the most important periods in Islam, thus we were charged to fast, shun evil actions, speak right and show love to one another.
“It also a time to continue in our prayer for our dear state, Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
“Above all, I implore all Muslim brothers and sisters to be more committed in their daily devotion to Allah, which is the ultimate of our faith”, Akinlade said.
