It was a carnival-like on Saturday 5th October, 2024 as Senator Lekan Mustapha gave out his pretty daughter, Omobosola Sulaiha, in marriage to Temitope Abdulmojeed at a ceremony held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos
The union was a culmination of a traditional wedding that was held months back in Mustapha’s Ijebu Ode home when the groom’s family were hosted as they formally requested Omobosola’s hand in marriage.
The elaboratety decorated Balmoral Hall was filled to the brim with dignitaries, politicians, the business class and well-wishers among others.
Senator Mustapha was full of smiles when he received Vice-President Kashim Shetima who were both glad in same attire.
The event attracted the presence of the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun who was the Chairman of occasion, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State.
Other dignitaries that grace the event were the foremost business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chief Segun Osoba, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Senator Solomon Adeola (YAYI), Senator Shuaib Salisu, Senator Sanusi Daggash, Dr. Tunde Ipaye, Alhaji Tele Ogunjobi, Hon. Biyi Adeleye, Hon. Abiodun Akinlade, Hon. Gboyega Isiaka, Hon. Olumide Osoba, Hon. Femi Ogunbamowo, among several National Assembly members.
Juju maestro, King Sunny Ade was on stage to thrill guests at the event.
