Muslims have been implored to pray for peace, unity and socio-economic transformation of Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.<\/p>\n

The Executive Director of Finance, South West Development Commission, Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi made the plea in his Eid-el Maulud message to the Muslim faithful.<\/p>\n

He noted that the spiritual importance of Eid-el-Maulud cannot be underestimated, as it commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammed<\/p>\n

Ogunjobi who is the Waziri Musulumi of Ijebuland, stated that Eid-el-Maulud presents Muslims with a glorious opportunity to be closer to Allah in worship and to seek His face on diverse issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish to heartily congratulate all my Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of the celebration of this year\u2019s Eid el Maulud.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank Almighty Allah for the opportunity granted to us to be counted among the living as we celebrate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis celebration provides us the unique opportunity to extend hands of fellowship and build trust amongst fellow humans.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn order to realize this, we require peace, unity, stability and ethno-religious tolerance.\u201d He stated.<\/p>\n

The Waziri Musulumi pray for the grace to witness more joyous days in the future.<\/p>\n
