The beheading of Anambra lawmaker, Okechukwu Okoye has been described as an act of lawlessness and barbarity being spread in Nigeria.
Okoye\u2019s head, without his body, was found on Saturday at Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State days after he was abducted.
The Anambra lawmaker from Soludo\u2019s constituency was kidnapped last week.
Reacting, Shehu Sani described the act as cruel and condemnable.
According to him, the gruesome murder shows there is an even spread of lawlessness in all parts of Nigeria.
The Kaduna former lawmaker on his Twitter page wrote; \u201cThe Beheading of the Anambra lawmaker Okechukwu Okoye by terrorist gunmen is cruel and condemnable.
\u201cThere\u2019s even spread of lawlessness and barbarity in all parts of the country.\u201d
Meanwhile, Prof. Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra state has placed a N10m reward<\/a> for anyone that identifies the killers of Okoye.
