The second term re-election bid of Governor Dapo Abiodun was today boosted as thousands of Tele Ogunjobi supporters\/PDP members from Ifelodun Constituency, Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside Local Governments decamped to All Progressives Congress, APC.<\/div>\n

Governor Dapo Abiodun received the decampees at a ceremony held at the Presidential Lodge, Abeokuta.<\/div>\n

Speaking at the event, Tele Ogunjobi said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is dead in Ifelodun with the defection of himself and his loyalists stressing that his support for the Governor’s re-election was hinged on his conviction that Gov. Dapo Abiodun has brought so much development to Ifelodun, Ijebu North and Ogun State in general.<\/div>\n

“As at today, PDP is dead in Ifelodun Constituency. APC is now our party. Gov. Dapo Abiodun has brought so much development to Ifelodun, Ijebu North and Ogun State in general. He touched virtually all sectors of the economy in Ogun State and therefore his second term is guaranteed.<\/div>\n

“Hon. Adegbesan has been tested and trusted, hence, he’s our house of reps candidate.” He stated.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Governor Dapo Abiodun while addressing the mammoth crowd of Tele Ogunjobi loyalists, stated that he has been together with majority of the decampees since he started his political journey.<\/div>\n

“Majority of you sitting here have been together with me in my political journey. I started my political journey at Late Sen. Jubril Martins-Kuye JMK’s house in Ago Iwoye and i can say that majority of you here were part of the success.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“I want to assure you all that we shall all reap the fruit of this journey we are embarking on. I implore you all to exercise your franchise without fear. Go out there and vote for all APC candidates as this will guarantee continued development of the state.<\/div>\n

“I want to sincerely thank the DG of our campaign, Sen Lekan Mustapha for his efforts so far and my dear brother, Asiwaju Tele Ogunjobi. By the grace of God, we shall be victorious together” He added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
