The Peoples Democratic Party, on Wednesday, slammed the All Progressives Congress over claim that the ruling party would win the 2023 general election with 43 million votes if the conduct was free and fair.
The National Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, made the assertion while receiving the Ambassador of Poland to Nigeria, Joanna Tarnawska, in his office on Wednesday.
He said, \u201cWith the massive support the party enjoyed from over 43 million Nigerians, there was no way the party will lose the 2023 elections.\u201d
Adamu\u2019s statement Wednesday night evoked a scathing reaction from the PDP Spokesman, Debo Ologunagba, who queried where the APC hoped to garner the “imaginary” votes.<\/p>\n

Ologunagba disclosed that unless the APC chairman was hallucinating, such statement should not be coming from a party that rode into power through lies and propaganda.
\u201cWho are the 43 million Nigerians the APC is banking on? Are they the ones that are hungry, whose lives have been cut short or whose children have been kidnapped? Abdullahi Adamu is hallucinating. That\u2019s how I can describe it. <\/p>\n
