Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has been impeached.<br \/>Naija News\u00a0gathered that Mohammed who represents Akpa 1 State Constituency was impeached during an emergency sitting held at the State Assembly complex in Lokoja.<br \/>Hon. Enema Paul, the member representing Dekina\/Okura Constituency made this known in a motion of urgent importance reason the floor of the assembly.<br \/>The assembly accused Muhammed alongside 3 other principal officers of gross misconduct and arbitrary use of their offices. The three principal leaders are; Bello Hassan Balogun (Majority Leader), Idris Ndako (Deputy Majority Leader), and Hon. Edoko Moses Ododo (Chief Whip).<br \/>Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has disclosed the names of the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) commanders that were killed by troops of the Nigerian Army recently.<br \/>ISIS released the list of ISWAP commanders killed by soldiers and Multinational Joint Task Force operatives in a video following the continued attack on the terrorists in Lake Chad and the fringes of Sambisa forest.<br \/>According to an intelligence report, troops of the Nigerian Army had some weeks ago stormed the camp of the terrorists, which harboured more than 3,000 ISWAP fighters.<br \/>Naija News gathered that the troops and the ISWAP terrorists were locked in a gun battle which lasted for more than three hours during the encounter.<br \/>The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has issued a stern warning to unknown gunmen terrorizing the southeast.<br \/>Kanu\u00a0in a statement on Friday said the days of the unknown gunmen and their activities are numbered in the southeast as they will be arrested and made to face the law.<br \/>The position of Kanu was made known by his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor who disclosed that the IPOB leader spoke during their meeting with him at the facility of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Thursday.<br \/>A few hours before the commencement of the 2022 governorship election in Ekiti State, Segun Oni may be disqualified as the candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP).<br \/>This is as the\u00a0SDP\u00a0has filed a suit before a federal high court in Ado Ekiti seeking his disqualification as the party\u2019s governorship candidate.<br \/>Naija News\u00a0understands the plaintiffs in the case submitted that\u00a0Oni\u00a0didn\u2019t participate in any valid primary election conducted by the party.<br \/>The suit marked FHC\/C\/31\/2022 and filed on Wednesday, has the SDP as the first plaintiff, while Ishola Agboola, Tunde Alabi and Kehinde Rufus are the second, third and fourth plaintiffs, respectively.<br \/>A political activist and social commentator, Deji Adeyanju has submitted that the 2023 presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu must tell the public the source of his income.<br \/>He questioned the general submission that\u00a0Tinubu\u00a0made his money in the past as no one is able to categorically point to his business interests and sources of income.<br \/>Making reference to the bullion vans spotted at Tinubu\u2019s Lagos residence on the eve of the 2019 presidential election, Adeyanju queried how the APC candidate can lay claim to so much wealth that it takes more than one bullion van to move his cash.<br \/>Apex Igbo Socio-Cultural Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has called on the presidential candidate of Labour Party,\u00a0Peter Obi\u00a0to forgive the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr.
